Maisie & Holly

Well I am little behind on my blogging yet again, but its always lovely to catch up on sessions from a few weeks ago....

This is the very gorgeous sisters Holly & Maisie who were in my studio at the start of June.

Having photographed Holly and Maisie's parents wedding, this was a very lovely session and a great opportunity to catch up with some past customers.

The session went so so well, little Maisie slept like a dream, Holly was fab and had loads of fun on my ipad and showing me the apps she likes to play on, and Dad was a brilliant spotter and kept little Maisie safe and sound standing right beside her through all the shots we took.
Unfortunately for Dad we have deleted him out as spotter.....its all about the girls ;)

Three times the fun....

I had the huge pleasure of photographing three little babies together in June....yes TRIPLETS!

I couldn't have been more excited and spent hours and hours researching newborn triplet pictures on the internet until all hours of the morning.

The babies arrived to my studio on 16th June at just over 3 weeks new. And all 3 tiny babies were just adorable!

The session went surprisingly well and lasted just under 3 hours....I have had longer sessions for just one baby!! I considered having an assistant photographer with me to help pose the babies, but glad I decided not to in the end as the babies Dad was fantastic at helping me with posing the babies.

I entered one of my images in the monthly competition for the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers and the first image below was Highly Commended in the competition.

It has been one of the best shoots I have done in my two years photographing newborn babies, and I am very pleased with the beautiful images I have captured.

Catch up!

Well, I have left my blog unloved and unattended for months! I have had a whirlwind 2013, and can't believe we have landed in the middle of June already.
Last year I used to blog how each and every session went for me and all about the little cuties that come to visit my studio, but with the huge number of bookings and revamping my studio it has not had much attention....

So I don't leave any of the little newborns I've photographed this year out of my blogging I've attached a few images from my favorite images from this year......and have made myself a promise to keep update from now on!
